Can we just talk about my people? Josh and Riley are my people. I felt a connection to them the instant they reached out to me and it only got stronger during their engagement session. No sooner did I start the session I was already in love with them! What makes them my people? They were carefree, funny, and it didn’t hurt in the least that they are absolutely bonkers for one another. And can we talk about how cute they are? I mean damn… look at them!

Riley and Josh had the pleasure of being my second wedding back post Logan (Yay Babies!!) and also being my last wedding of the year. I don’t love that my wedding season ended for the year but I wanted to spend some time with my newest little love, however what a bomb ass way to go out! I kept telling my second shooter, “You’re going to love them… They are so fun… You will mesh with them so good!” I’ll admit this is not the first time something like this has been said because I really love a lot of my couples, but it was beyond true this time. And they brought along this massive love of a dog which was actually what brought the two together to begin with! #FullCircle

Throughout the whole process, Riley and Josh were literally the most amazing people and that didn’t stop on their wedding day. Right before their first look it started to drizzle and where most couples would book it back inside Riley says, “I like it… it’s romantic” and they carry on with the rest of the day as we had originally planned. On top of it all, for those of you who noticed, I had to bow out gracefully a little early and have another photographer hang back for the party. This wasn’t something I planned on and I was terrified to even bring it up to them but Riley was so kind about it which made me feel so seen. There can 100% be times where I feel like the help at a wedding or when as a business owner I’m forgotten to be human but never once did Riley and Josh make me feel this way. I’m so happy and honored to have been able to share their wedding day and give them back memories I know they will cherish.
