Madison and Alex
The Ivy at Ellis Preserve
Newtown, PA

The first of my hat trick weddings this season at The Ivy Ballroom. I’m so so so so unbelievably lucky that I could part way from Madison and Alex and know it wasn’t goodbye forever. When I tell you I want to be friends with the majority of my couples, Mads is what I’m talking about. Such a genuine human from the very first time I met her and it carried all the way through the end of their wedding day and after. Pair that with the gem of the human that is Alex and it’s the perfect cocktail for a successful life.
This was my first time getting to visit The Ivy Ballroom so may have gone a little ham. I started the day of WAY early because I wanted to get a lay of the land. Having been to the Ballroom numerous times I had a slight idea but I was nervous about walking time. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised that everything that I love using is still so close and convent.
Madison and Alex told me to lean into the black and white vibes of their day and gave me free range to play in the shadows. I loved being able to flex my slightly moodier muscles while still staying true to my business as a whole. Of course it helped that these two were the easiest humans to photograph on the face of the earth. I’m truly blessed this year with having couples that are excited for their wedding day and excited to hang with me as well!
Enjoy a little sneak into Madison and Alex’s elegant wedding at The Ivy. And legit enjoy every single person serving face the whole time. Obsession is an understatement. Peep the vendors at the bottom for the full send.
