This is what' it’s about. This is the reason I shoot weddings. Normally I start my blogs with a little blurb bit about me, but not this time. I have never felt so much energy as I did this past Saturday with Uju and Merwyn. Everything was EVERYTHING. The style. The beauty. The culture. The smiles. The love. The speeches. You guys, I got teary eyed going culling through to pick out images fo this blog and it’s a crazy amount. Biggest blog to date for sure but like, tell me how! Tell me how I’m supposed to take out any of these images? And this is only a small sampling of their wedding day!

I cannot say enough good things about the group of family and friends that was able to enjoy this long awaited wedding. 3 wedding dates and 2 years later and worth every second of the day. And the blend - I cannot write this post without talking about the blend of these two cultures. So strong and deep routed in Uju and Merwyn as individuals but a true Yin and Yang when they are blended together. It was pure perfection. It was everything a wedding should be.

Uju and Merwyn share such a special kind of love that is so beautiful to see. They bonded initially over sweets and half metaled ice cream (to each their own) and created an insanely respectful and nurturing romance out of it. They moved through their wedding with such a calmness and grace as if to say, “Today is the day we finally get married and that’s what matters”. Such a joy to work with you both!
