Pen Ryn Wedding

Easiest way to tell when I’m entering into my busy season? The slowed blog posts. It’s terrible! I want to show everything because I love my couple so much!! 10/10 will try to do better this busy season. HOWEVER - we all know that part deux of my family of love had to end up here! And for a couple who tells me they are awkward in pictures and don’t particularly enjoy them - hot damn. Like damn. Like all the damns. You guys sure don’t look like it!!

If you haven’t been following along I’m obsessed with the Kerr family which I keep getting to watch grow. Years ago Jordan met Joe and they got married at Blue Mountain (which is where I’ll be today!). Cathleen was the amazing maid of honor who then met her Dave and they got married and had me along to celebrate. Shortly after followed this Dave (pictured) and his now stunning wife Becca! But it doesn’t end there! In a few short days I will have the honor of celebrating with Christine (another sister) and her soon to be ball of life wife Grayce. And the best part about this - they are all fucking wonderful humans with the most delightful and sweet parents I have ever met. I’m obsessed with you all. But this blog is about Becca and Dave!

When I first met these two (for their engagement session in Philly) Dave showed up in the most glorious Bob Ross shirt - he was surfing on waves of various paint colors. I distinctly remember them looking at another couple who was dressed in formal wear at the same location and Becca said “well - we are a little under dressed”. I died. And also no. The point of my photography is to get you back pictures of your relationship! Show up in sweats if that’s what feels the most you! So come wedding day Becca is rocking a Phillies T and amazing smiley slipper (which I still need to get) and looked at me sideways when we did “robe shots”. To make myself abundantly clear - I am here to capture you in your element. I don’t need pink robes and fuzzy slippers and matching necklaces. I’m here to celebrate love and you and your friends. And I cannot thanks Becca and Dave enough for staying true to who they were - mine a killer mustache… but that can go.

If anyone needs a rain gods hook up, reach out to these two. On a day that said shitty suspect weather all day, they lucked out. Pen Ryn served as the perfect backdrop to match their vibe that I am forever going to be obsessed with! Something about Becca’s liner and the white tux on Dave matched up that gets my little photo heart all excited. I’m here for it! Here for this whole day! Cheers to you both and I wish you nothing but a marriage filled with lots of laughs and beer.
