Lury and James' Wedding - Jessica Lynn Photography

Lury and James

February 24, 2018

Man, oh Man! Am I ever sad to have missed out on this wedding! Lury and James booked me for  their wedding knowing it was the same day at my due date. So what's a girl to do? I reached out to an associate Photographer and she worked her magic to capture the fun of these two on their wedding day. Luckily for me though, I was still able to be a part of their celebrations for their engagement session where I really got to know the couple! PS... Check out that blog if you haven't already! I know some of their pictures were in hiding before their wedding so they could "WOW" you all!

At this point in my career I have worked with a lot of couples, and I remember quirks about all of them. So what is it I loved about Lury and James? They are so connected! They just mesh well together on a whole. Lucy has enough personality to hold up the whole world which I adore about her and James has such a subtle humor and debonair-ness about him that just balances the whole thing out!. I'm really sad that I didn't get to meet their precious baby girl on their wedding day, but luckily I got to when I met one of her besties, Erica! I'll be shooting Erica's wedding soon which means I'll get to see this amazing couple again! I love when my brides end up being included in the wedding party of other brides. I would like to say this happens with men as well, but it seems we women get the final say when it comes to vendors.

While I couldn't attend this wedding myself, I gladly put on my jams and edited away while Kieran was just a few days old. I don't know if it was my music or the picture or the two combined but I could feel the energy from this wedding. It may have been freezing and it was 100% raining, but that didn't stop this amazing couple from celebrating their love and being nothing but smiles. I'm not kidding when I tell you I could hear Lury's smile when I was going through their images. I know that is such a weird thing to say... but for those of you who know her, you get it.

Lury and James, I wish you all the best in your marriage and I hope you enjoy your pictures for many years to come! You worked hella hard to get where you are today and you deserve only the best! See you soon!
